Day 25 - Eight Days a Week

The Beatles have a song called 8 Days a Week. Sometimes, a work week can seem like that.
Practically all of my working life I have worked at a desk of one sort or another. This was not particularly by choice, rather more by chance. Back in the 80's when I started my working life, it was pretty much a linear track. If you got a job, you were happy. Lots of your friends were unemployed, queues at unemployment benefit offices were long and dreary. So you took what you could get and you were happy, pretty much.
So it was one day that I walked into the offices of a local company and started my deskbound career.
